Cancellation Policy

At Scuba Cat Diving we endeavor to provide you with quality dive services. To maximize personal attention we keep to small groups of divers and students. As a result of this we have the following cancellation policy:

COURSES

If you fail to show up or if you show up after the scheduled start time of your course and, if in the opinion of your instructor, we are unable to accommodate you on that day’s program, we will charge you for that day of the course, plus retail price for any manuals. For example: 3 day OWC is 14,500 baht – if you miss one day you will be charged 4833 baht plus manual. On payment of the no-show fee we will reschedule your course dependent on the bookings we have.

DIVING TRIPS & DSDs

If you show up later than the agreed time on your booking form you will need to make your own arrangements to meet the dive boat. Please understand that in the interest of other customers, we cannot delay the boat departure time. The cost of your missed trip cannot be refunded. You are resposible for any costs incurred.

CANCELLATION OF DAYTRIP & DSD'S

Before 18:00 hrs the day before your dive trip starts 1,000 Baht per diver.
After 18:00 hrs the day before the dive trip starts, there will be no refund.
No show NO REFUND

ALCOHOL

We reserve the right to cancel your day trip or course if it is of our opinion that you are intoxicated.
NO REFUND

LIVEABOARD TRIPS

Due to the limited numbers that we carry on our liveaboards we are UNABLE TO OFFER REFUNDS.

All refunds for services paid with credit cards will incur a 10% service fee to cover bank charges.

If Scuba Cat Diving is responsible in any way for you missing your course or dive trip then we will offer you alternative dates. If for whatever reason you are unable to make those dates we will refund your money in full.

We reserve to right to amend trip itineraries and dive site selection with regards to weather and safety considerations.

Compared with most "dive centers" in Thailand (a lot of them is just a website - a "Virtual Dive Company") - Scuba Cat owns their own fleet of diving boats and have been in operation since 1994. If you do a Course or a Dive Career Package with us, all your dives will be from one of our own dive boats, not "we got to do a beach dive, 'cause it is not enough students" or from a "last minute rented long tail boat, 'cause all the other boats are full".
