PADI Rescue Diver Course Phuket Thailand - rewarding and fun – the best description of the PADI Rescue Diver course. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level: PADI Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence.

We don’t like to think about it, but accidents happen. There are several good reasons to become a PADI Rescue Diver. Rescue training expands your knowledge of diving, increases your level of diving skills, and makes you more aware of what is happening around you in the diving environment. The program is an important step in expanding your knowledge and experience as a diver. PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent) certification is also a prerequisite for all PADI leadership programs.

What Do You Need To Start Your PADI Rescue Diver Course ?

Minimum age: 15 years old (12 for PADI Junior Rescue Diver)

You can enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver Course as a certified Open Water Diver and participate in the PADI Rescue Diver knowledge development and rescue training sessions, in confined water only, while working on your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification. You can also enroll if you are already Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent scuba diving certification from another organization)

Successful completion of a sanctioned CPR program within the past 24 months. The Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) courses meet these requirements.

What Will You Do During Your PADI Rescue Diver Course?

Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. During the five open water sessions you'll cover:

Self-rescue and diver stress
AED and emergency oxygen delivery systems
Dive first aid
Swimming and non-swimming rescue techniques
Emergency management and equipment
Panicked diver response
Underwater problems
Missing diver procedures
Surfacing the unconscious diver
In-water rescue breathing protocols
Egress (exits)

At Scuba Cat, all our scuba diving certification courses include manuals and free scuba diving equipment rental For the PADI Rescue Diver course you'll receive the PADI Rescue Diver Manual and Diving Accident Management Work Slate. In addition, we teach all of our diver level courses in small groups to ensure that you receive the attention that you deserve.

How Much Will The PADI Rescue Diver Course Cost?

PADI Rescue Diver Course is 14,500 Baht (3 Days).
Including manuals, scuba diving equipment rental, dives, certification and instructor fees. All our courses are taught to PADI Standards.

What Can You Do After The PADI Rescue Diver Course?

PADI Rescue Diver Course Phuket Thailand certification is a prerequisite for all Professional level PADI courses, beginning with the PADI Divemaster certification. It's also a prerequisite for the Master Scuba Diver certification. Or why not join us for some day trip diving or even a liveaboard trip?

Compared with most "dive centers" in Thailand (a lot of them is just a website - a "Virtual Dive Company") - Scuba Cat owns their own fleet of diving boats and have been in operation since 1994. If you do a Course or a Dive Career Package with us, all your dives will be from one of our own dive boats, not "we got to do a beach dive, 'cause it is not enough students" or from a "last minute rented long tail boat, 'cause all the other boats are full".
