Scuba Cat Diving, Phuket, Thailand was founded by Mike Stark. Since beginning operations in 1992 Scuba Cat Diving has become Phuket, Thailand's most complete dive centre with the first liveaboard in the Similan Islands.

Sarah Kench, formerly a Senior Manager with HSBC in England, decided to change her life, came to Scuba Dive in Phuket, Thailand in 2004 after spending several years diving in the cold water of England and leading dive holidays to the Red Sea, Caribbean Islands, Dominican Republic, Malaysia, Mexico, Indonesia and the Philippines. After one trip to the Similan Islands on board our liveaboard MV Scuba Cat she starting work in the company after completing her PADI IDC and aspired to one day own Scuba Cat Diving and this became a reality in 2007.

Scuba Cat Diving, Phuket, Thailand is a 5 Star PADI CDC Center and has been a 5 Star PADI IDC center for more than a decade running a PADI IDC 11 times a year. The next IDC course is due to start on August 3rd 2008.

Scuba Cat Diving, Phuket Thailand has a resident PADI Platinum Course Director, Christophe Pace to conduct PADI IDC courses.

Scuba Cat Diving, Phuket, Thailand operates 2 liveaboards year round in the Similans, Surin Islands and all the best dive sites in the Andaman Sea, Thailand. One daytrip boat to the best dive sites around Phuket and Koh Phi Phi Island, Thailand.  Liveaboard experience can be incorporated with your PADI IDC or Divemaster course.

Scuba Cat Diving, Phuket, Thailand teaches tec diving including Gas Blender, DSAT Tec Rec, Trimix, and rebreather courses up to Instructor level. Many of these courses are onboard our own liveaboard MV Scuba Cat in the Similan Islands at no extra cost.

Scuba Cat Diving, Phuket, Thailand owns and operates a fleet of dive boats to provide the most enjoyable of day trip diving, liveaboards, and snorkeling. We are innovators of a variety of diving products in the area; "often imitated - never copied" for liveaboard diving in the Similans Islands and during Green Season.

Compared with most "dive centers" in Thailand (a lot of them is just a website - a "Virtual Dive Company") - Scuba Cat owns their own fleet of diving boats and have been in operation since 1994. If you do a Course or a Dive Career Package with us, all your dives will be from one of our own dive boats, not "we got to do a beach dive, 'cause it is not enough students" or from a "last minute rented long tail boat, 'cause all the other boats are full".
