Emergency First Response (EFR) is the fastest-growing international CPR, Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid training organization. Dedicated to training the lay rescuer, EFR courses encompasses adult, child and infant CPR skills, provides AED and First Aid training, and feature an outstanding First Aid at Work component. Many divers take the EFR Primary and Secondary Care course to meet program prerequisites, such as PADI Rescue Diver, or as preparation for becoming a PADI Divemaster. What will you do?

The course incorporates independent study to prepare you for a classroom and hands-on skill development session with your instructor You will learn the same patient care techniques used by medical professionals, but at a lay person level. During the course you'll cover:

At Scuba Cat, all our scuba diving courses include manuals and free scuba diving equipment rental For the EFR Primary and Secondary Care course you'll receive the EFR Participant Manual. In addition we teach all of our courses in small groups to ensure that you receive the attention that you deserve.

What other courses are available?

EFR Care for Children Course

The Emergency First Response Care for Children course is an innovative CPR, first aid and AED training course that teaches people how to provide emergency care for injured or ill children (ages one to eight) and infants less than one year old. You'll learn about medical emergencies that children face and how they differ from adult conditions. The curriculum also includes the importance of attending to basic emergency situations with children, the emotional aspects of caring for children, secondary care for children, and prevention of common injuries and illnesses in children.


How much will it cost?

PADI EFR Care for Children Course – 6,000 Baht (1 day classroom) Including manuals, certification and instructor fees. All our courses are taught to EFR Standards.


First Aid at Work (Australia) Course

The Emergency First Response First Aid at Work (Aus) course is an approved first aid course which meets the statutory needs of employers in many countries needing at least one First Aider on the premises. Please contact us for further details on this courses.


EFR and CFC Package

PADI EFR and CFC Course – 11,500 Baht (1 day classroom) Including manuals, certification and instructor fees. All our courses are taught to EFR Standards.
