The PADI Underwater Photographer Speciality course can help you learn how to take your first underwater photographs or fine tune your existing skills to produce photographs that will stun your friends.


What do you need to start?

PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying scuba diving certification from another organization)

Minimum age: 10 years.


What will you do?

You'll learn the basics of underwater photography such as composition, film type and camera handling, with special emphasis on practical techniques. You'll learn underwater photography dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You'll also learn how to care for and maintain your camera equipment.


What's included in the course?

At Scuba Cat Diving, Phuket, Thailand all our scuba diving certification courses include manuals and free scuba diving equipment rental For the Underwater Photography program you'll receive the PADI Underwater Photography Manual. In addition we teach all of our diver level courses in small groups to ensure that you receive the attention that you deserve. All our courses are taught to PADI Standards.


How much will it cost?

The Price for PADI Underwater Photography Speciality Course is 12,000 Baht (2 Days / 2 Dives).

Including equipment rental, two boat dives, certification and instructor fees.


What can you do next?

The Underwater Photography Adventure Dive from the Adventures In Diving program credits toward this specialty at the discretion of the instructor and this speciality certification counts as one of the five Speciality course certifications for the PADI Master Scuba Diver certification.
