E learning Scuba Tune Up

Are you a certified diver who hasn’t been in the water lately? Have you forgotten how to set your equipment up? Are you getting nervous about your next dive trip? PADI E learning Scuba Tune-Up provides a full review of your scuba knowledge ready to go through dive skills and help you improve your buoyancy skills and comfort when you get to Scuba Cat.

What does it cover?
PADI Scuba Tune-up Online content is broken down into 8 easy-to-learn sections after an introduction, covering Safe Diving Practices, Dive Planning Fundamentals, Problem Management, Breathing Air at Depth, Dive Computers and Dive Tables, Planning Dives with the RDP, Diving with Enriched Air Nitrox and Diving Skills Review. You refresh the remaining skills by actually diving with a PADI Instructor at Scuba Cat Diving.

How does it work?
After enrolling, PADI’s eLearning system presents you with interactive presentations that include videos, audio, graphics and reading. Short quizzes let you gauge your progress, and review and correct anything you might happen to miss. This lets you move through the program efficiently and at your own pace.

What does it cost?
The course fee for PADI Scuba Tune-up Online is $50 (US), non-refundable. The fee covers your refreshing your knowledge. While PADI Scuba Tune-up Online does not necessarily require that any training dives in confined or open water take place, it makes sense to refresh both your knowledge and skills, at Scuba Cat Diving we recommend you do this. Scuba Cat Diving, Phuket, Thailand will charge an additional fee for the in water portion of your Scuba Tune Up.
It is slightly more expensive to do the PADI Scuba Tune Up via eLearning, but it is a great option if you want to complete your refresher quickly so you can get wet when you arrive at Scuba Cat.
